Trinity Polk
Trinity Polk is a multimedia storyteller passionate about journalism, strategic communication, and digital content that informs, connects, and inspires. She has built a portfolio spanning broadcast, print, digital media, and social platforms.
On campus, she reports and produces for WHOV-TV, co-hosts The Blackfluence Podcast, and previously served as editor-in-chief of The Hampton Script. Beyond campus, she has gained professional experience with FOX 26 Houston as an Emma Bowen Fellow, the Knight Science Journalism Fellowship at MIT, Her Campus, Washington Media Scholars Foundation, and the Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau.
Her work spans newsroom reporting, national features, investigative projects, digital campaigns, and social media content strategy. She has earned national recognition, placing second in Ally and Thurgood Marshall College Fund's Moguls in the Making pitch competition, third in L'Oréal's HBCU Hackathon, and as a finalist in WMSF's Media Case Competition.
Polk tells stories from multiple angles: on camera, behind the scenes, and across digital and social platforms. She is passionate about amplifying voices, raising awareness, and driving meaningful change through compelling content and strategic communication.
